Studio Policies
For "On location" photo sessions we can meet at your location, or
we welcome your visit to our Batavia, NY Studio. We are open by
appointment. Please call 585-345-4268 for address and directions,
only 5 minutes from Interstate 90, exit #48.
Proofing
All proofing will be delivered to the Client in the form of a CD/ DVD for
multiple photos, or electronically by email for smaller quantities.
Images will be labeled Proof Copy, Do Not Duplicate. Proofs are
used for the selection process and are unretouched. After Client makes
selections, adjustments will be made, see Retouching section below for
more information.
Online proofing gallery is available, client has several options:
a) can be
included in the initial signed contract
b) can be added later, the fee is
$50.00
c) the fee of $50.00 will be credited to the
client with a minimum print order of $500.00
Notice of Copyright
Paul Freeman Photography retains ownership of all digital
files of all images. It is illegal to copy or reproduce these images
without the express written permission of owner Paul A. Freeman.
Violators of the Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal
penalties.
Payment Methods
We accept check, money order and cash. There is a $35.00 returned check
fee. Credit card payments will be accepted
using PayPal and you do not need a paypal account to use this credit card
service. Please call for the secure online link, payments are processed quickly with only a few clicks.
Processing
All orders should be placed within 30 days of the sitting and must be
accompanied by a 50% down payment. Final payment is due at the time of
order pick up.
Processing for Weddings is under "Wedding Contract", please call for link.
Shipping and Handling
All shipping charges shall be paid by the client. A minimum $5.00
charge will be applied to all orders being shipped. Orders picked up at
the studio have no shipping charges.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied to items shipped within N.Y. State. Sales tax
will not apply to items shipped out of N.Y. State. Sales tax rates vary for each
County and will be determined by the ship to address.
Retainers
Sitting Fees are required in full to reserve a studio or location
session. These fees are non-refundable yet transferable to another
date. If client purchases a Portrait Package, which includes both the
sitting fee and prints, then the retainer $ amount would be 50% of the
price of the selected Portrait Package.
Retainers are required to reserve Wedding dates. For more policy
information on Weddings, refer to Paul Freeman Photography's
Wedding Contract, available upon request.
Retouching
Complimentary retouching is included for minor blemishes, lint on
clothing, etc. Free estimates for extensive retouching, digital
artwork and building multiple image collages will also be provided upon
request. Also included are routine additional adjustments
to photos, if necessary, such as darkening or lightening.
Price Protection
All prices are subject to change without notice.
Exceptions would be: Paul Freeman Photography guarantees prices with signed contract for
professional
services & products for only the items & quantities on that specific contract.
The prices for subsequent orders, will be based on current price lists.
