Blog - January 2009
How about a changeup, from cold, snow and ice, to the warmth and sunny skies of this past summer?
Here are several images from an album we are putting together right
now. What do you think of this title for the shoot... "Bow
Vows" ?
It's a "25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration & Renewal of
Vows"! The location of the ceremony was on Seneca Lake, near Geneva. It is one
of the
Finger Lakes, and the reception was slipside. Lots of fun! I'm
so glad Deb & Frank asked me to photograph the event!
Family Portrait time and this one is special. It's great when families
get together at holiday time, and even more exciting when some members
come from far away. I appreciate the
opportunity for a family
shooting session in the studio, and this shoot was alot of fun.
Denise had an idea.... a birthday gift for her mom! A Wall Portrait
will be coming soon!
And here is another from the same shooting session with Denise and my
son Ryan...now I'm hopeful... maybe we'll be able to get updated
portraits of my other son, Scott, and my daughter Leah!
"Scott and Leah can you hear me?"
and here is Dennis
and Kristen....we also set up a "Family Group of Six" photo, and it
turned out real nice! Thanks again to everyone for coming to the studio!
The Richmond Memorial Library is updating their
website (with hopefully an early 2009 launch) and they have asked me to
help with the photography. A couple years ago I did the cover photo
and layout for their 2007-2008 Budget Newsletter.
When planning the various areas to photograph, it has been fun to
have the emphasis on "people", as you can see below. The library is a
neat place to spend some time. It is spacious, they have a very helpful
staff and it is organized with multiple areas so that people of any
age, can easily find what interests them.
The Library photos
below were selected and sized at 166 pixels high, so they will fit nicely into the upper right header area, of
the Libraries updated web pages.
