Some have said one of the most
magnificent buildings erected in the United States in the nineteenth
century was this large stone and brick hospital on Forest Avenue in
Buffalo, NY. It was designed by architect Henry Hobson Richardson
in 1870.
This
Nashville, Tennessee version of the Parthenon is an exact replica of the
original in Athens. It is a beautiful structure located in Centennial
Park, a 132 acre park located near downtown Nashville. I was there as
an exhibitor for the Fall Art Show. I took this photograph the evening of the day I arrived.
